The Mysterious Treasure Chest

Watching: The Amazing Race 6. One more leg Aaron! oh, and you too Kendra.
Listening: no speakers at work. Got The Darkness - I Believe in a thing called Love stuck.
Reading: Gilmore Girls recap cause I didnt see the show show cause of the Pistons.

I am worth $1,619,214.00 on HumanForSale.com I thought that was a lot til I realized I didn't even crack the top 50 on the scoring list. I'm even below average for female worth! (Average is 1,674,575.00) Sigh. Typical: I take something to boost my ego and it only helps to further knock it down!

Anyway I totally decided I need a segment here entitled "Crazy Things Said At Bookstudy Last Night" because seriously? My hall has gone nuts, and now the nuttiness has gotten to the kids, and the things they say. Oh dear.

Last night one of our star performers, Jackson Royale, (and no I didn't make that name up - he is a celebutante in training), was the night's scheduled entertainment. He's three, and he gave no less than five comments that surrounded the mysterious treasure chest. I can't remember them all mostly due to three year old mumblings, but I'll try my best. JG - we all know who that stands for right? Name abbreviated to protect the Innocent.

Comment 1, before paragraph one had even been read:
"The treasure chest is gone now because JG closed it." Oh no! Before all other references to the treasure chest in his previous comments were that it was fruitful and open! What has happened?

Comment 2, somewhere between paragraph two and four:
"JG closed the treasure chest because (indeterminable three year old mumbling) but then it was closed because it was open." My dad tries to make sense of this all, asking "Was this in your book?" Yes, was the wise response.

Comment 3, near the end, and my favorite:
"JG went in the tunnel to close the treasure chest and then he died." WHAT?? Okay that may have crossed the line in terms of craziness and apostate, but it most definitely crossed the line from funny to dang hilarious! I hardly held it together during that one.

And that, in a nutshell is why my bookstudy rocks. I don't get much out of it because of the 7 seven kids who can't keep still and have whispering defects, but I stay amused, and I can't ask for more than that.

Quoting: I wasted all my Jackson quotes, so The Apprentice recap.

"Trying to learn from other reality show contestants is a good way to wind up as a bartender with implants."
