Back to bookstudy highlights. Sorry last week they were inoccupado, or whatever "absent" is in a different language. Jackson Royale (all he needs is Esquire and he is destined for stardom.) He starts off the meeting by volunteering to give the prayer. No, for reals, I'd like to hear the wise though babbling prayer he would undoubtedly give, because he's three! Unfortunately they passed the prayer torch on and we start. Thankfully that momentary rejection did not stop fair JR from beginning his commenting streak by...what? actually giving a correct, albeit hee-larious comment? Paragraph one..How does a mother respond to her crying baby? Jackson, please, you have the floor. "When the baby cries, the mom comes in the room and says "Be QUIET" and then goes back to bed." If you ever want the hard hitting truth, just ask the boy. Later on a completely unrelated paragraph he gave the comment again to reinforce the statement as fact and not as some whimiscal notion but that yes, his mom tells him to be quiet a lot, it seems. Well the bookstudy was a little short on attendance and paragraphs, so lets just wrap this up with one more comment from our resident sensei. Question...How do humans view compassion? Jackson hands shoots up, my dad qualifies the comment, "Jackson, is this a one word answer?" “Sure!” comes the bold reply. His mom sits in the corner and practically shouts out, "Don't mention the treasure chest. Just say 'weakness!' And I quote the following, because through the tears of laughter that's all I can do. "Moooommmm!!" [Super exasperated, and it shuts her right up! Noted.] "[Clears throat] umm...when the children die, they just dig a hole and put them in it." Definitely more than one word, but soo worth the extras! Thank you Jackson and goodnight! I want want want this tshirt in a bad way. In the battle of Spring Vs. Winter, I believe Spring has scored a remarkable victory, staving off the 6 inches of snow we expected and replacing it with… not snow. And really, that’s all I can ask.
