Have you ever had it where you've seen someone from afar and thought that if everything fell right, you'd be really good friends? And you may have hung out on occasion but you never felt like you could tell them exactly what you were feeling and they wouldn't have judged you for it? So you just assume that friendship wasn't written in the stars. But then years later when you weren't impressed any longer by the Big Names, you did become good friends with them; not just hanging out friends, but actually bonding? Did I lose you among the question marks? Grilled Cheese Parties are always Yummy. Click til ya can't click no more for cheesy pics, pun intended. I think we've reached a point where we no longer can let the snow intimidate us. We make plans all winter long, only to have the averted or diverted or canceled or deflated just because of some weather system. But it comes a time in every person's Winter, that they just have to stand up and say, No more! Snow, I won't be canceling any more plans because of you! I'm on Spring's side, and hard as you try, you will not be victorious. Take that snow. I don't know. I just really got mad at snow last night, a la Lorelai. But I was soo happy that everyone came anyway. Even though it wasn't my house and Beth was the one worried. She came back from the store with real worry in her eyes and said, "It's really bad out! I don't think anyone is going to come!" But she was wrong, and that was one time that I was glad that she was. And I don't know why she was so worried about everyone having fun? "A drunk hostess is the best hostess." Not that we were drunk at all. It was just wine! Who doesn't cook and drink wine? That's just uncivilized. I don't know, its been a long day and it's just getting longer. More of the story is I'm happy to be friends and NO MORE SNOW.
